Director & Creative Producer

Kofi Regan Carson is a Director

and Creative Producer working between

Toronto & Brooklyn, New York.

As a part of the Ghanaian diaspora, Kofi has had

the opportunity to spend considerable time in his

father's home town of Accra, Ghana.

The imagery, culture and rich history of Ghana

has given Kofi a unique perspective and lens.

Kofi worked in the NYC art world as a creative

producer with the performance duo Fluct.

A video installation Kofi oversaw as a creative

producer was acquired by

The Whitney Museum of American art,

Permanent Collection.

Kofi would then work as a creative producer with

long time collaborator Sigrid Lauren

on Drew Mcdowall’s - Rhizome

which would receive a Nowness Pick.

Kofi forged relationships with Chrissie Iles,

the curator of the Whitney Museum and Andrea

Rosen, a Canadian gallerist known for

representing photographer Wolfgang

Tillmans.

The two both endorsed Kofi’s last 0-1 artist

visa, providing letters of praise.

Kofi made a transition into fashion after being

invited to direct visuals for a Telfar Global show

during New York Fashion Week.

This would lead to directing a campaign piece

for Bond Hardware, one of New York’s very own,

world renowned fashion houses.

Recently Kofi wrote and directed

Huerco S.’n Plonk I.X

received acknowledgement

premiering on Fader Mag NYC
